son Joe's birthday (04/28 ~ he'll be camping in Payson so we had his birthday a week early AND he is a Strawberry fanatic) He requested a strawberry cake so... I made your's and it went way too fast smileys/smile.gif everyone and I mean everyone loved it.....

Just the strawberry curd alone is a dessert ~ it tasted so so so good. Joe has asked me to teach Jessy to make it for him and DH requested it for his birthday his favorite is German Chocolate .... but now he says this may be his "new" favorite.

I get the magazine too, but I would never have thought to make this if you didn't post it.

Where did you find strawberry extract?

Our stores carry lemon, vanilla, rootbeer and almond.

I found mine in my local gourmet store. It is available online if you google you will find many >

sources.

I found mine at Sunflower ~ a farmer's market ~ in their spice section~ any farmers market should

carry them. The regular supermarkets only carry vanilla, maple, orange, almond, and lemon extract.

Diane, so funny... .... I just spent 2 hours looking for a strawberry cake recipe I had. No luck,

then decided to use google and spent more time looking for a strawberry cake recipe.
I found a couple, but then got tired and decided to drop by Finerkitchens for awhile. Lo and behold, there is your post with a great recipe!
I'm so excited... I will be making this for company next week.

GayR first posted this I was hyped. It is an excellent recipe ~ the compliments will be many that I can honestly tell you.

I love coincidences ~ I was looking for a Strawberry Cake and came across GayR's
