GBH is on "silent auction" and the high bid is $70....

My medical doctor wanted in on the auction and she'll bid up to $150, so I know we'll get that much. Deadline is tomorrow at 2:00, but I don't expect folks here to rush in to increase their amount.

Doc can't have it at home because she has 3 shelter dogs and doesn't trust them not to eat it. I gave her Dawn's suggestion of donating GBH to the Children's Hospital...that would be so nice.

tee-hee...one of our system architectures just did a post-mortem on GBH

(Work email distribution about the silent action included "Diary of a GBH Virgin" story with the Calvin & Hobbes cartoon embedded along with this year's photos.)

You NEED a better design, you NEED Quality control, you NEED Sprint Planning, you NEED to implement CMMI.
Your Ginger Bread Project was destined to fail!
The Ginger Bread BOM exceeded the contract specifications.
The performance measures were not met.
The design was somewhat documented, but where are the use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, functional views, and infrastructure?
When was quality control notified that the specifications were not adequate for the 3.4 pound roof?
Release 2 was not much better than Release 1, and resulted in catastrophic loss.
There were cost over runs.
The workers were exposed to life threatening environmental conditions.
And I’m not even going to mention the hazardous waste contamination – cherry red food coloring.
Its crucial to have the requirements fully documented and analyzed prior to construction.
There is way too much information regarding the "bra" work uniform.

Marilyn, I'm OSHA certified and US Army Corps of Eng CQM certified

I'd be glad to sign off on the QC and even verify that all OSHA requirements were met smileys/smile.gif Of course, I am assuming that you did get the proper crane certs before moving the GBH....

Shoot, I'm even CalOSHA certified for heat illness in case it got too hot in the kitchen.
