Ghee...does anyone here bake with it? Does it work well in baked goods? One-to-one sub for butter??

You might need a small amount of liquid since ghee is purely the butterfat with all the liquid remov

I have also bought ghee that is very strongly flavored. Not mild & sweet like typical butter.

I wouldn't mess around with it - As Melissa said, it's just the butterfat. The milk solids and water

content are completely removed. It would throw off the balance of the recipe, and you would have a completely different result, both texture-wise and taste-wise.
