M marilynfl Moderator Oct 21, 2008 #4 Could I use Masa Harina for the cornmeal? I know they've added lime or something to that, but I hate to buy more corn products. I only like coarse-ground polenta and that's what I have, besides the masa.

N nan Well-known member Oct 21, 2008 #5 have a grinder you use for spices?grind polenta, or use a food processer?
G gayr Well-known member Oct 21, 2008 #6 MarilynFL, Everything I've read states not to substitute as the product is processed differently than cornmeal and will yield a very different result in the recipe. What if you whirled the coarse ground polenta in the processor to make it finer????
