Given the price of food these days, why aren

Getting bulk without the hassle

First off, do you want to butcher an animal in your kitchen. Do you have the storage for all this?
My freezer is full of tomato sauce and paste on the top shelf.
Second shelf is applesauce and frozen berries.
Next shelves house fish, then chicken, then beef.
The two bottom drawers are full of bread and packages of chili, homemade soups, and a few pasta dishes. There are other ways of getting bulk without taking home the orchard or farm.

All jokes aside, I would like to encourage you all to look into buying clubs in your area.

Some areas do not have them, but I am just now getting ready to buy Muir Glen products and amazing legumes in bulk. Most of them are organic. I am purchasing French green lentils for $1.42/lb and cannellini beans for $2.14/lb, and they are organic. I purchase these a lot and if some of you want to get together and order, I will be glad to mail them to you. I just cannot afford to absorb the postal costs, so that would be up to you, plus the cost of the legumes or grains. I can give you my log on name and password so you can look around. There are some very good deals. Well, French lentils for $1.42 is an example.
I have mailed 17-19 lbs of legumes in the flat rate boxes for around $9. So if anyone is interested, let me know. I can make a list of the legumes and grains that they offer.
