here goes--and hey it works!!!!! would like to have your source on line--actually $12+ isn't too awfully much if it's a 1# jar?

McCormick wrote me this:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We appreciate your interest

in our Parsley Patch and welcome the opportunity to be of assistance to

you.

Our company is no longer manufacturing products under the Parsley Patch

name. These products are now called Salt Free Seasonings.

Because we are sensitive to consumers who must limit their intake of

salt/sodium, we have developed a line of Salt-Free Seasonings blends:

LEMON & PEPPER, GARLIC & HERB, SPICY, ALL-PURPOSE, and IT'S A DILLY. This

seasoning line is available nationally in the spice aisle and has a bright

green top.

In addition, we have recently introduced two Salt Free products to our

Grill Mates line. Look for Salt Free Steak Seasoning and Salt Free Chicken

Seasoning in the familiar Grill Mates Seasonings bottles with the black

tops.

We invite you to sign up from our website to be a regular "My McCormick"

user and receive our online newsletter with recipes and cooking tips.

If we can be of further assistance, please call us at 1-800-632-5847,

Monday through Friday, 9:30AM to 5PM Eastern Time. If you wish to respond

to this note by e-mail, please include your name and e-mail address.

We hope to have the continued pleasure of serving you.

Sincerely,

Didn't want to hit enter, but did....(more-really this time)

Parlsey Patch was a predominantly garlic based salt free seasoning with parlsey, citrus peel and a heavy dose of rosemary in it. I'll probably get the jar I found so I can figure out which of their "new" products is closest. It was fabulous on lamb!

could you please post the website where you can get it? I too, think...

it is that combination. but would like to have it try and duplicate it.
I do not usually like blends, but that one was so good, used it often when I wasn't sure what was missing.
Penzey's has several blends I use, if you are interested?
