Going to Scotland in two weeks! Any suggestions on where to eat, what to see?

We will be in/around Edinburgh, Dundee, mostly sticking to the east coast area, and eastern highlands. Will be there for two weeks visiting relatives. This is our first time over, and although I expect the natives will show us a good time, I always find you folks have great input when it comes to traveling. So, I would welcome any suggestions! if you like to walk, it's worth hiking up arthur's seat just east of edinburgh - the view over the

city/surrounds is great. st.andrews is just north of edinburgh, supposed to be quite beautiful. but i spent most of my time in the northwest of scotland and some of the islands, and would highly reccomend a trip that way if you can spare the time! you could see a distillery over that way, too. let me know if you'd like any info about the northwest. have a great trip, you'll love scotland!
