I love it!

NOw I must make a Mexican dinner for us with tortillas from scratch. Masa harina, I suppose... gotta find THE perfect recipe

on a side, non=cooking note, my beloved will have to go for knee surgery on Tuesday, he fell trying to get the water out of our flooded tornado shelter, and all tendons from the quadriceps to the left knee were ruptured. He has been on braces since early this week. I feel so sorry for him, 6 months without any golf, without any running or leg exercises.

a real mess of a week we've had, but I know he will recover quickly and I can hardly wait for the surgery to come and be over with.

maybe a few Mexican dinners will help him!

Hi Sally, no recipe required--just masa harina and water. Otherwise you'd have to boil

dried corn with lime and grind it into a mash, something no one I know has tried. Mexican markets sometimes sell the prepared masa but I don't know if it would be available where you are.

The Masa Harina is a shortcut but the tortillas are absolutely delicious when freshly made.
