I made it tonight and the ice cream was voluminous. I thought the lemon would be very strong with the zest of 3 lemons and 1/2 cup of juice. It was perfect. I used a microplane and the zest must not have been fine enough. Most if not all of the zest sunk and clung to the blade, though I will definitely make this again!
