I recently checked out a terrific book from the library...Breakfast for Dinner (another inevitable purchase.) I've made a ton of recipes from the book and been very happy. This one left me wondering why I didn't think of it sooner, and so pleased I came across it just in time for the holiday party season. Terrific vessel for dips or eating out of hand.

When I mentioned it to a friend of mine...her response, "What a great way to use up leftover bagels from meetings!"

So easy! I love the size of the 'chip' and the flavoring is spot on. Great party food.

Garlic Bagel Chips

Breakfast for Dinner

A great way to use up leftover bagels, these crispy chips are seasoned with garlic and herbs. They're delicious served with a flavorful cream cheese and artichoke dip.

4 everything bagels, sliced into `1/4 inch wedges

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. In a bowl, toss bagel slices with oil, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Divide between 2 baking sheets and arrange in a single layer. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, rotating baking sheets from top to bottom once during cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
