Great idea for Mediterranian Brunch

I was in Copenhagen this weekend and had the absolutely best brunch I've EVER tasted!

We got this served on a plate: A small bowl of Greec yoghurt with fruit, hazel nuts and honey. In a small cup there was a soft or hard boiled egg. On the plate itself there was taleggio cheese with olives, parma ham with gorgonzola mascarpone, mortadella, fresh slices of fruit (we got cantaloupe melon and pineapple), salmon rilette with red onion and capers, fried chorizo and a small croissant.

This was served with Italian country bread, coffee and juice.

It was SO good!

I did take a picture of my plate. I'll post it as soon as I get my camera and cord (I haven't unpacked everything yet.)

I will definitely try to copy this brunch for my friends. It was awesome! ( -and your idea to take too smileys/smile.gif

Eva...this sounds lovely. I can't wait to see the photos. And anything with salmon

has my vote! YUM! I love getting my friends together for brunch. The last time I hosted a brunch, folks started rolling in at 9:00am and the last one finally left at 5:00pm! It's been far too long...I need to do something like that again.

Thanks for sharing the ideas. YUM.

By the way, what country do you live in? Just curious.

Eva, Tx for posting the picture. I had trouble envisioning it. Looks like it could work for a

large platter also. How fun and relatively easy! Tx for posting.

Regards,
Barb
