Claire in Rogue River here...

Formerly Claire in Rescue and Claire in Kelsey...

Formerly of the demised and lamented Gail's...

How on earth has everyone been?

Does anyone know if there is ANY WAY to access archives of Gail's? I went to the chat at Epi and talked with Hugh briefly and he said there was a link, but didn't provide it. Said the formatting was all wonky and weird. Can anyone help?

Would also like to hear from any of the folks I knew from Gail's before...

Wow, I guess my first post posted, but I don't see it anywhere...

Forgive me for being such an idiot with this new board (new to me)...I'm usually not such a technodunce.

Hello, CLaire! Long time no see. Are you still raising sheep (or is it goats?) If I remember correctly, your first daughter should be about eleven on May 3rd. Try clicking on the link in the subject line--it should lead you to the archives in numerical order. Unfortunately I cleaned up so many recipes for the sake of brevity and deleted the asociated numbers that I can't always find what I am seeking. I still remember that Richard's Russian Potato Casserole is #5596! Good to "see" you again! Mark in Houston/formerly Denver

Did that link work? It does off of my computer, but I wonder....

I have the bookmark saved on my "favorites", and it pulls up all of the archives from post #1 through #39598 which is in January, 2001. I don't think you can do a search in the old manner, but you can find recipes from the odld days, and I don't think it is possible on the new Epicurious engine. Not perfect, but perhaps someone out there can embellish on this start!

Does anyone else access the archives via the numbered lists? more..

I don't know why I can't post the link I use to get to the archives so it would work for others. I am thankful that I can look for any recipe prior to February, 2001--so if you want access and know the post's number, give me a holler!

When I copy/paste your link into a new window, it takes me to the "Waybackmachine" site...

and I get this message:

Not in Archive.

The page you requested has not been archived. If the page is still available on the Internet, we will begin archiving it during our next crawl. Try another request or click here to search for all pages on food4.epicurious.com/HyperNews/print-archivelist.cgi?forum

It works for me, if I click on the link within the wayback page. But then most of

the links on THAT page don't open. 2 of them do, 8 of them don't - I didn't try after the first page.
