Greetings from our Christmas cactus [who took its name to heart and bloomed that very day.]

WOW - beautiful. I've always loved Christmas cacti. Didn't get one this year.

Kept my last one alive for two seasons. That was a record for me these days. I don't know what happened but I had a green thumb from childhood through my mid-twenties. Something happened when I got married and had a kid. Hmmm wonder what that was?

WOW! that is just beatuiful! We have one the same color and it blooms on cue too..

It is very old, more than 30 years but the main part of the plant died this past summer. I was able to salvage a branch, as they root so easily and with just a couple of small branches it is blooming up a storm! I am so glad it is happy again. I can't wait for it to get as big as yours smileys/smile.gif

We also have a bright pink one that is a bit more than 12 years old but it blooms at Thanksgiving. Still lovely to enjoy.

Beautiful.... now did you know that in Brazil....

.... the same exact plant is called "Flor de Maio" and that means "Flower of May", because it always flowers in that month?
