Grrrrr. Olympics coverage. They haven't even aired yet, and the results are all over the news/net.

I try not to look, but sometimes you can't avoid it. It's like telling someone the end of a movie or a book. You on the East Coast haven't even seen it yet. Grrrrr.

The problem is, Marsha, that the games are over before they are broadcast here, in primetime. That's

happened to me too, finding out that the race I really wanted to see and planned to watch at night - my guy lost. He was Lopez Lomong, the flag-bearer for USA in the opening ceremonies. He is a Central New Yorker - adopted by a local family after he escaped from Kenya to a refugee camp. Argggh... 'found out he lost the second heat before they aired it on tv at night. It'd be nice if we could navigate nbc's site easy enought to find out what is broadcast live online, when, but that site is impossible.

There - venting felt good!

yes, I meant they haven't aired yet tonight(I wrote my first message at about 4:15 our time)

So I was looking forward to watching the balance beam competition tonight, and I go to close my homepage, which is MSN and there is the sports update about the results---which I try really hard not to look at, but it caught me off guard. Anyway, I thought they were trying to not post these results, or give warning so those of us who don't want to know in advance can not look. small gripe, but it irked me today.
