Guava Cream Muffins - another variation on nlb's Pineapple Cream Muffins

I used a can of guava shells. I diced the shells - it made about a cup full - and filled up the spaces with syrup from the can and the tail end of a jar of guava puree. They were very, very delicious. And I tipped a little of the remaining syrup into my glass of water to make a guava flavored drink. I do love guavas!

But when you type 'guava' over and over, it starts to look very odd.
