Had a lovely meet-up with judy (MA) and hubby Rich [ie: world travelers!]

We ate and ate some more and I received a quickie lesson in beer brewing (go ahead...test me on beer yeast and the addition of hops) and learned that my friends are ballroom dancers. How cool is that!

After tapas, I suggested we walk to the beach a few blocks away. We ended up looking out into a big black hole of dark nothingness and then immediately turned back to their inn. Only now we had to walk directly INTO the cold wind. Holy mother! Seriously...it was 39 degrees!

Let's just say I've had better ideas.

After thawing out, they're heading up the coast today. I wish them happy trails and my thanks for routing their trip to visit.

Thank you so much for a fun dinner

I am so glad that we were able to connect, if only for a couple of hours.
(Marilyn is a very fun, lovely lady and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together.)

We are slowing our pace today and will only get as far as Amelia Island.

Hope it warms up soon for you.

Jacques and I had the same pleasure 2 years ago, (at the home of Steve2). Wonderful people,

Great evening!

And they say the internet is impersonal?! Wish I'd known about the dancing though.

I'm so glad you got a chance to get together.

Miss Steve. So glad, but not surprised that he probably was just as sassy, silly, fun and intellectual in

person as he was on eat.at and going back in time, when we knew him on Epi.
I do regret that he did not share his illness, so we could make his time more comfortable or add a smile to his face.
I am so happy that joe, you had such a great memorable evening with him and CB
