Had Mango coleslaw w/ Maple Lime Vinaigrette. Had to share. Still licking my lips.

brooksie, you should paste the path in the field below the Submit Reply button called

Link URL

Then the word LINK will appear next to your title.

Also, Meryl caught the period at the end. Pasting a path inside the Message field doesn't automatically work as a link.

so wow...I got to the link and I'm reading it and mentally running through my ingredients

and realize I HAVE EVERYTHING! Right down to the three fresh herbs and trust me, that is like love, money & happiness coming into perfect alignment in the Universe.

Then I hit the line that says the recipe is from Plenty by Yotam Ottolenghi...which I OWN.

Life. Sometimes it just has to slap you upside the head.

Thanks for smacking me, Brooksie.

...and we weren't. I followed Yotem's recipe which is slightly different. I did reduce

the amount of toasted sesame oil because that flavor always seems to over-whelm all others. Also, Yotem's uses a minced stalk of lemongrass which adds a nice flavor without the texture since the sauce is strained before adding oil.

I sliced everything on a mandoline and think I'll dice the red pepper next time. The mangos and cabbages worked beautifully, but the pepper was so thin I didn't enjoy a flavor burst.

Thank you again for posting this. I'll have to make more of his recipes. The pictures in his book are amazing.
