Chicken with Thai rice. Followed by granadilla jelly and port.

It is so hot I am gasping in this humidity but so wanted to cook something today so got up very early and did the souffles and it all just went from there....

The pud is a very plain, easy South African favourite. Passion fruit, lemon jelly and condensed milk. Will go well after the Thai meal.

Souffle and Thai dishes I took from Delia's 'How to Cook 1". A delightful book of a series we have had for a few years now.

The Chicken dish is great but I have tweaked it with fish sauce and palm sugar. Deffinate improvement.

I am also doing a salad = pear, walnut and bacon with arugula.

If anyone wants the recipes I'll be glad to post.

Have a good evening all who are celebrating. (all all those who aren't)
