Beautiful pie, Maria! How did you paint your leaves and the vine or tree twigs?

Food coloring/water, but it oddly turned all dark in the oven.

Still though, at least the design showed up. It never has when I just did the cutout only. It’s dark, but didn’t look burnt in person, just coffee colored. I’m sure the colors would’ve worked better with a less flaky crust, but didn’t want to give that up.
