Thank you everyone! I'm beginning to think every birthday should...
be in NYC (or Europe smileys/wink.gif. Such a wonderful day. Lazy morning with NY bagels and smoked white fish while watching Bette Davis in "Another Man's Poison". Birthday cupcakes. Shopping at Bloomingdales, Barneys, and Bergdorf Goodman. NY chocolate egg creams. Dinner at Le Veau d'or (the classic old-school French restaurant that Anthony Bourdain featured in his "Lost NY" episode) which was absolutely exquisite. A stroll back through a light mist to Cafe Pushkin for irridescent meringues, and a late night viewing of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" before hitting the sack.
