Happy Thanksgiving, all!

And a very wonderful Turkey Day 2 U, too, Amanda_Pennsylvania as well as to everyone else who is

reading my harvest wishes. Someone above offered his/her thanks for this forum and all the friendly, helpful & supportive contributors on it, and I second that comment and offer a toast to you all!

So many other swap sites have people who rate things low after they've changed everything but the title of a recipe(!), yet at this site I can follow a recipe using the poster's suggestions and tweaks exactly as specified, and a new recipe (to me) comes out perfectly every time. Here, I can always trust what you recommend--can't say that for some of the other forums I frequent. lol.

This is the site where I was helped and encouraged to learn how to make caramel--for which I will be forever grateful! What a tremendous bunch of trouble-shooters you all are--and how very generous with your suggestions and tips. The cooking knowledge and expertise here at 'eat.at' is superb.

I appreciate each and every one of you more than you'll ever know. Enjoy the holidays! Wigs (aka Caryn/Indiana from the original Gail's site back in the Middle Ages)

Hugs backaatcha, Traca. Finished with chemo, have moved onto radiation.

I have about four more weeks of daily treatments, although with the holidays and such I think my last treatment is on 12/31. Looking forward to being done with all the madness. smileys/smile.gif

Looks like you'll be starting the New Year with a fresh start! Bravo! Perhaps you might

be interested...I was sent a review copy of this book. It's more than a cookbook. The recipes look great (simple but flavorful) but there's text woven in with quotes, advice, etc. It's uplifting and yet, there might be something useful here. (((Hugs)))
