Has anyone bought the Wave Oven shown on TV informercial? (m)

Yes!! I love mine. It's a portable convection oven, is what it really is...
I drag mine out every once in a while, and when I do, I wonder why I don't use it more often.
It cooks more evenly and quicker than a toaster oven, but it's on that order. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it regulates itself as a regular oven does and turns off the heat (and light) every 30 seconds or so, so I imagine this must get the neighbors wondering what we are doing in the kitchen. But if you can overlook that, it's very nice!
Doesn't bake cakes or cookies, but I did make an apple pie in there once. It only took about a 1/2 hour to cook at 370 degreeds F (temperature comes in pre-set intervals).

Thanks Dawn. I believe they have updated the oven from the first (m)
time I saw it. It is now called the Nu wave Oven Pro. You can take food directly from the freezer and cook it without defrosting. I'll think about getting it. thanks again.
