Has anyone else tried the "European-Style Bacon" I am seeing in the market?

Wow- it is truly great bacon. Not sliced in long strips like "our" bacon, but cut more like slices of a small ham. And barely any fat. Very smoky, very tasty. No, haven't seen it and really it is different from what I may want as "bacon"

We all have now realized the deliciousness of pork belly unsmoked and done in other dishes.
This just seems to be the same type of use.

It looks a lot like back bacon

that I have had in Ireland, Bermuda and GB.

If you like the bacon flavor without all the fat that our traditional bacon has, then give it a try. It is a bit like a cross between our bacon and Canadian bacon.

I was surprised to see my mostly mundane nearby H-E-B carries it, the brand you linked. I think

it would be great for some cooking applications. Thanks for the heads up. The store is so huge and busy I don't do enough exploring.
