Has anyone ever tasted Mrs. Renfro's Jalapeno Salsa? I really like this

salsa and would love to try and duplicate it, but was wondering if anyone else already has?

It's ingredients are as followed as printed on their label:

jalapeno peppers, water, onions, distilled vinegar, cornstarch, salt, spices, and garlic (there are no tomatoes at all and it looks like they have taken out most of the seeds).

I am also in search of Pico Pica hot sauce recipe, still.

And Mrs. Renfro's Habanero Salsa. Thanks!

I haven't looked at them all, but I did run across a bunch of them here at

this link. It's not particulary user-friendly, but there are some that sound really good. Most of them are paired with some other fruit though, as in "mango-jalepeno salsa".

YOU are the one I look to, to find good salsa recipes, so I don't know... ;o)

I've never heard of Mrs. Renfro's salsa, although this particular one does have many of the ingredients you listed.

Thanks D. The one I am looking for has no tomatoes whatsoever.

I could probably duplicate it myself but truthfully, I just don't have the energy or the inclination to mess around with a bunch of salsas right now. I really like this one, it has a great flavor not just heat. I will keep looking. Thanks for the link.

I would think straight jalapeno (not mixed with fruits) would be way too

hot. No? I noticed that "none of them had no tomatoes" - wow - what a sentence... but have fun experimenting with the 600 when you do get the inkling ;o)
