Well, my Dad always likes a slice of cheese on his apple pie, and my mom likes ice cream on hers.......Guess its a compromise!!!!!

 
when I get a tub of fresh Cherve from one of my friends I use a melon

baller to makes small balls of goat cheese and then dip them in melted, bitter sweet choc. sounds strange but they're seriously good. smileys/smile.gif

 
oh.... that's right.... talk dirty to me --- that sounds AMAZING!!!

How do you keep them from sticking to the melon baller?

I must confess, it was one of my "kitchen Angels" that made the balls for me, I was busy putting something else together. the melon baller was just for uniformity of size. I think she just pushed the cheese out and rounded it in her hand. you must chill them before dipping or you will end up with premature melt down.

if you get a "log" of Cherve, maybe just slicing it uniformly would be fine. or, you could just dip the entire log, plate it and let your guests try figure out what it is and what to do with it '-)))
