We had some today at a Chinese restaurant in KC and it was absolutely fantastic. I want to make this at home and for the cafe. Does anyone have a recipe for this? TIA

I Traca! Thanks for thinking of me!

I am going to make kimchi tomorrow and try using that in my version of the soup. I made the broth today with beef rib bones and pork neck bones. I will strain it tomorrow and add the noodles to it. It just had a little bit of meat in it, but it was absolutely delicious. I will let you know how it turns out.

Can't wait to hear how it goes. Also, question. I made pupusas the other day. Do

Yiu have a good recipe for curtido? Something makes me think you might. smileys/smile.gif

Cheezz, here you go. I didn't make the curtido, but will try soon. I made tamales and had leftover

black bean filling, and tried the filling in pupusas. Excellent. I think the curtido is the thing that sends pupusas over the top.

Also, there's a Salvadorean place her that makes pupusas with a kind of pulled pork made creamy with beans and whipped lard. That also gets stuffed in pupusas and it's awesome! I'm still trying to crack that nut. smileys/smile.gif

I love pupusas with curtido - the one I get at our Farmer's Market tastes like it has lime juice

in there somewhere. This is making me want some - good thing the market is tomorrow!
