Has anyone heard from Melissa? I'm anxious to hear.

Just got home to my parents' house yesterday afternoon

I am minus a TWENTY-TWO POUND tumor and seven-plus liters of ascitic fluid. Have a very large but very neat incision and am very sore but healing well. The frozen section during surgery was very encouraging and I'll find out final pathology and get staples out on the fifth. Ended up admitted two days early because when they got to looking at my week-old ct scans they noticed a couple of very small blood clots in a lung that had probably been there since before my prior hospitalization. Had to have a basket filter placed the day before surgery to catch any leg clots so now will have to be on blood thinner for six months too. Slept ten hours last night with no interruptions. Heaven!

Oh, my. thanks for letting us know how you are doing. Rest a lot and look forward to

how great you are going to feel without all that fluid and stuff! Joy!
