Has anyone made the cake on the cover of Dori Greenspan's book?

I want to make it for this weekend, a bit ahead of time. I have already made the layers, wrapped them and put them in the fridge. It is the icing I am worried about, making it and how long ahead can the cake be iced and stored?http://www.amazon.ca/Baking-Home-Yours-Dorie-Greenspan/dp/0618443363

Barb, I can't tell if this is the same cake or not?

This blog calls it Black and White Chocolate Cake...but the cake looks white. So I'm terribly confused.

This blogger had a terrible time with the icing...I've linked her review of the cake.

The other link is for her posting of the recipe..which doesn't include any chocolate for the cake.

Maybe I need more coffee?

Barb - It should be fine for a couple of days at room temp, but if it is hot & humid where you are

(supposed to be 90's here this weekend) the icing may get stickier. Fluffy white icing is pretty much the same as divinity candy.
