Has anyone made the pumpkin pie on the cover of the King Arthur catalog?

I haven't even looked at the catalog yet...

but since I have a few pie baking sessions in my immediate future, I will check it out.

 
I did use the recipe...

The pie is cooling now on my counter.
I will report again, once it has been tasted.

First impression is that it is going to be yummy...it's picture perfect, and smells delish!

After first taste...

the flavor is good.

It may be just my oven temp being a bit off, but I baked it 10 minutes longer than the recipe called for. It looked set, but when it was cooled a bit, it was still quite soft in the center.

It was tasty, but I'd add a bit more spice the next time.

If it sets up a bit more after sitting overnight, I will let you know.
