Has anyone seen this?! OH MY. It is on my list. Not what I was looking for but can't resist.

There are so many versions of smoked salmon, some are just awful, and I have no idea

how they even got marketed. My fave is a version our local meat and seafood shop makes, blackberry smoked salmon. Fish is very moist, soft, and luscious.

 
Big difference in hot smoked and cold smoked fish and salmon. And differnt

uses. I like the cold smoked salmon/lox style especially. And hot smoked can be taken past the ideal moistness a lot of times also.

 
Smoked salmon is one of my favorite quarantine suppers. I get it at Wegmans. They also sell sliced

Baguette which is easy to toast. Spread with cream cheese, add a few capers, a slice of red onion that has been soaked a bit and then the salmon. A martini is not a bad addition to this.
