Has anyone tried a buttermilk dry mix and does it work? Is there any way to freeze yellow squash or

zucchini? I made my last trip to the the farm stand. I am desolate. They closed this past weekend. I made butternut squash soup and froze it; I made tomato basil sauce and froze it; I bought the last of the corn and ate it. But I will so miss my yellow squash...sob...there must be a way!

I know that zucchini can be grated and frozen for use in loaves.

Buttermilk dry mix does work. I keep it on hand in the freezer all the time.

Buttermilk dry mix goes bad over time if it's not kept in the freezer. I do the same with skim milk powder.

I keep the buttermilk mix in the freezer otherwise it goes bad.
