Have you had success growing wheat grass inside?

I bought a flower pot of wheat grass but everything I've tried has just seemed to hasten it's demise. So sad! I'd love to bring it back to life if anyone has any suggestions for me. Thank-you! Colleen

Colleen, it's not meant to live forever. If you have a sunny spot, like a southern window,

It will grow for several cuttings, but then it needs to be replaced. That's how I've seen it grown in flats for juice bars--the flat is good for a couple of cuttings. Wheat is an annual grass that goes to seed in one season, so you're probably not doing anything wrong.

For years, when our kids were little, I started six weeks before Easter and made a wheat grass

basket, then put colored eggs into it. It lasted through two cuttings, then died. So, I'd say you are not doing anything wrong.
