Having an event on Sunday at our home and I want to offer fresh lemonade

made with frozen lemon cubes from lemons off our tree, plus a southern ice tea. I'm thinking of making these tomorrow. Do you think that would compromise the flavor?

I've hear bartenders say that citrus is better when it sits awhile--don't know if that applies to...

lemonade, but I wouldn't image that it wouldn't translate.

I've made it the day before for a party...didn't notice any problems.

Also had leftovers we drank for a couple days. Made it with the meyers off my tree, it seemed fine.

Lemonade is fine. Iced tea should be made that morning to be clear & pretty.

Refrigerating it makes it cloudy & it doen't taste fresh if made the day before.

Thanks, you confirmed what I thought I knew. I knew the fresh lemonade would do ok

and knew the iced tea got cloudy....for us it is OK, but for company, not so much. Thanks for the help, as always....so appreciated.

You're welcome. My Dad used to be a big tea drinker & he fussed iMom didn't make fresh

every day. I'm like you.. I keep it in the fridge & don't care if its ugly but I would want it nice for company.

With you there, nothing like the taste of iced tea the day it is made

We go through a lot of brewed iced tea, and I always look forward to that first sip just after I make it. So clear, refreshing, and satisfying. It muddies after sitting.
