Having fun at your own parties

I love relaxing and having fun at my own parties. Thanks to all of you, my dinner and Mexican menu was a hit. The enchilada dishes (one with red sauce and the other with green sauce), the black bean salad, the poblano rice, and the flan were amazing. Everyone went back for seconds. I was surprised that very few people chose the beers and instead went for a Spanish wine David found (2004 Julian Chivite Gran feudo Crianza (even though I had given him a list). That experience just reinforces my belief that it is okay to experiment with guests by preparing a new dish for the first time. It adds to the fun and merriment. LOL
