Tip for removal. Thanks for sharing the great/brillant recipe...I sprayed the ice cube trays with PAM, the little cubes popped out! Sorry I didn't share this tip earlier, but I've teaching all over the state...in Nov everyone wants new recipes.

I've been using the little dears in soups and stews. SueYoung in SoCa

 
Oh that's a fine idea - wish I had done that - still have 5 trays in the freezer to work on...

and with tendonitis in my wrist there they will stay for a while! LOL

Found that if they sit for a little while they come out easier but will remember the Pam trick for next time.

So glad you like them, I think they really do a lot with flavor, without extra salt!
