Heavenly! Southern Living's Amaretto Almond Pound Cake

question, it says to pour glaze over cake while still in pan, but it looks like the glaze is on the

"top" of the cake in the picture. How did you glaze it?

 
You could do either way. I think for the photo, the glaze was poured over the cake

out of the pan. My theory is if you pour it over the cake while it's still in the pan, more glaze gets absorbed. Worked like a charm and I had no trouble getting the cake out of the pan.
