Yeah, when I grilled the chicken and shrimp skewers I also did a whole chicken...
...on the grill as well. I wasn't really sure which was hotter, the grill, or the back of my neck!

I made the above cookies at 6:30 a.m.- before the worst of it. Now I can sit in the AC and eat them

I live a mile from the beach - heck, I pay XTRA to live a mile from the beach, so it isn't *supposed* to get this HOT. I sure feel for all the New Yorkers and all that spoiled food in everyone's fridges, freezers, and restaurants - awful! I think of those poor people and try to whimper a little less smileys/smile.gif

It's silly for me to complain about the heat. No one forces us to live here.
June/early July is our hot time. That's when we break our own records! Once late July/August sets in, we drop all the way down to 103 to 108 (a cooling trend in these parched parts!).
