Catching up on these posts. Well, maybe all but loaded diapers! So many good recipes to try. Mexican corn salad and Korean burgers are on my short list. 2 oldies are prepared for a BBQ tonight---whipped feta spread and calico baked beans. I roast the tomato mixture for putting on the whipped feta. Would recommend trying that sometime. Florida was lovely except my husband had to leave 3 weeks early to help his elderly ill aunt who has since passed away. We're now all involved with clearing out(done!) and remodeling her condo for sale. Dh is her executor. All this and we want to put our city house on the market too. My head spins. Not much time for recipe fixin'. We eat well but it's been simple prep cooking. Just wanted to pop in to let you know I check in to read posts and think of you often.

 
Michael,so sorry I couldn't meet you in PX. Had to cut our time to 1 night

In PX to spend extra time in Albq with friend who has cancer. Next roadtrip we'll have more time for visits. Raincheck?!

gardens. I spent 10 hours outside today pulling weeds ( read trees, ironweed, honeysuckle, etc.) and I can't even see what I've done. It truly is a labor of love.

 
I was lucky. Angie showed me the NON-PERFECT version when DH was working on replanting.

It looks like something a mere mortal would do. I am so grateful that she allowed me to view BEFORE images because I had assumed her and DH were magical garden fairies!
