I have just started a new job with full time training. Have not been on in a while. We are going to Corpus Christi and San Antonio Texas in May....any recommendations for a good restaurant that we should visit while we are there? We only have one day in San Antonio and 3 in Corpus Christi; husband is in a bowling tournament. Thanks in advance...really missed reading recipes in a while..going to try to cath up tonight.

El Mirador on S. St. Mary's Street in San Antonio.
They are famous for their Sopa Azteca soup that is the special of the day at noon on Sunday. Since you will be there on Saturday, not sure what the special is, but all their soups are absolutely fantastic and world class. They serve great freshly made when ordered corn or flour tortillas.
If you like Tex-Mex, you can't go wrong with anything you order there.
