HELP! bone-in pork loin rib chops in crockpot with Scott Peacock's rub

It's 8:00 p.m., my DH brought these home two days ago from Costco, needed to be cooked soon, even though we are having work done, and NO water for a full day!

The chops are covered with the paste but look thin. Shouldn't they need some more liquid overnight on low? I'm afraid they will be dry. Opinions, please?

I'm not clear about the chops but here is my thoughts. You said they look thin

does that mean the chops are a thin cut? If so, I'm not certain about cooking them for that long in a crock pot. Usually, when I have thin chops I give them a fast sear in a pan or the grill. Pork today gets very dry because it has hardly any fat.

Maybe putting them in a sauce of your choice and cooking on low for a few hours would work. You can use a broth or stock to pull together a sauce, or use a good brand of Cream of Mushroom Soup with some broth added. I'm sure someone will chime in with more choices for you.

I would cover them with some sliced onions. that should protect them and give some liquid too
