First let me say this, I am downright ignorant when it comes to computers. With that said, somehow Marilyn's pic of her open cookbook has posted itself on my FB page!!!! How did that happen and how do I prevent it from happening again. Not that there is anything wrong with Marilyn's pic, I just prefer to not have random pics posted on my FB page. Any thoughts???

 
Hi Barb! I don't know how that happened, but I can help you delete if it you

want. Facebook has certainly "upgraded" their security issues, huh? Maybe it took it somehow from your computer, but I don't really see how that could be, if you didn't save her picture to your computer.

What is your FB name? I'd like to take a look!

 
Barb, I just went out to Photo bucket and looked at some things.

Under Finer Kitchens, across the top menu bar, there is a tab called APPLICATIONS.

Under that, it has FACEBOOK, TWITTER, ETC...

Your (full) name (and photo) was the only one "CONNECTED" under FACEBOOK. No clue how that happened.

It let me DISCONNECT you and your pretty face went away, so hopefully that was the trigger that sent my photo to your facebook.

I have no clue about how facebook works and don't know how to check that end for you. Let's see if this helps.

 
Dawn, I tried to PM you bit it didn't work smileys/frown.gif ....

Look for me on FB as Barbara Yound Rowe. If you can't see the pic just friend me. I am not sure how I got connected to that pic as the only place I viewed it was in Marilyn's post on this board!

 
Yes, thank you!! I will delete it but Dawn wanted to see it there.

Thank you for disengaging my name from the pic. When I go home tonight I will try to make a clean break from photobucket!

 
Glad you got it fixed... I went there, but didn't see anything except the beautiful mountains and

your lovely face :eek:). I originally searched for "Yound", but the computer was smart enough to correct me!
