Help!, Looking for the pickled shrimp recipe. Shrimps are now cold and I still seem

REC: Spicy Cajun Shrimp...Not sure what you're looking for exactly but this is FANTASTIC!!!

Cajun Shrimp
Serving Size : 20
1 gallon Salted Water
1 lg. Lemon, sliced
6 pounds Shrimp, cleaned/unpeeled
2 cups Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Tabasco Sauce
1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Seafood Seasoning,
1 1/2 teaspoons Basil,Dried,Ground
1 1/2 teaspoons Oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons Thyme,Ground
2 teaspoons Parsley,Fresh,Chopped
2 heads Lettuce

Clean shrimp by removing head and legs. Place into boiling water and cook until done ( about 3-5 Minutes ) drain and put ice into shrimp to cool them as quick as possible. Continue cleaning them by removing the shell and vein ( leave the tail and last segment of shell on ). Combine the remaining ingredients except lettuce, beat with a wire whisk. Pour over shrimp; toss. Cover; chill 24 hours. Turn occasionally. Drain and serve in a lettuce lined shallow bowl. Serve cold.
The hot sauce seems to get diluted by the oil so you might need to adjust the amount of hot sauce to your individual taste.

Perfect Nan, Thanks CynUpstate's. We are going to our first Superbowl, not sure what that is but I..

know there will be yummy finger food so wanted to make a nibbly sort of dish too. I have shrimp so now thanks to you I can make it...hope the standing time will be long enough.
How's the leg?

O.K. your first Super Bowl, Just remember---GO COLTS!!!! leg, so far so good, update on the 12th.

Joanie, a Super Bowl is a giant hot tub party. You all sit in a circle in the spa drinking cold

beer and wine. The finger foods float in bowls around you. "GoColts!!!Leg" is an odd term of obscure origin, but it's what you shout when you want something passed to you. The passing is done by nudging the floating bowls with your knees.

Have a great time. You'll love it!

Joe, You are a hoot...in our former life we had a hot tub and rather miss the parties there in .....

we had a great set up. Tub right near the pool and in the center attached to the roof (it was half under the eaves) we set up a pulley. My father-in-law had an old, hard lifering from one of his former deep-sea fishing yachts which I commandered as I found that the round tray in my kitchen fit perfectly inside this ring.
Every time we needed more to drink we would lower the pulley...Of course the guys set up another way of drinking...LOL! they lowered the ring down half way and made long straws go right up into the glasses...yes, we had a lot of fun.
The best was when it was a cold evening with soft rain falling...only half on us because of the over hang of the roof... so we swirled around taking turns out in the rain or back under the roof...we had such a fun set of friends and we all had good figures!

I'm sorry I just didn't read it well and the typos I make all because...

I don't use my specs...it's getting to the stage where I must wear glasses every time I'm on the computor. I made the shrimp and they sure are good.

Obviously, I can't fool someone who's been everywhere and done everything!

I love the suspended lifering idea! Wish I'd thought of it when we had an old avocado tree spreading over the hot tub. The tree died a few years back. The stars are nice enough now but a well-stocked bar suspended on a pulley would be nicer!

LOL! Well, I haven't been to a superbowl, or ever been in snow!!!...I need also try....

out a nice young lover...ooooh! did I say that.
As older age (read larger hips) keeps on approaching at a great rate there is a lot of stuff an' things I want to try. Join me and let's get started!!!!

Joanie, I don't think you'll find your young lover at this particular pary....

unless he's a Prince fan.
