of them that would fill a filing cabinet. How can I organize them so I can find them when I want to use one? Many thanks.

Not as many as you but enough for two fat binders...

One is with old-school dividers marked appetizers, beverages, cookies, and so on. The other is by German, Mexican, ...plus ideas for high tea and menus. I look forward to reading what others do.
If only I cooked as much as I dream!

I have paprika app on my laptop, iPad and iPhone

I can download a recipe directly from any web site and they sync among all my devices. Love it!. Sorry, doesn't help with those you have already printed though. I did have to copy some from my cookbooks when I first started, but now many are available on line

My method is not scientific...but it works for me

I also have a stack of "to try" recipes. I keep them in a cupboard for easy access. However, I keep downloading recipes to try, so the pile gets huge. I sit down while watching TV and go through the pile every few months. Sometimes I wonder why I downloaded a recipe and put it in the toss file. It clears the pile out nicely.
I have two huge white binders full of recipes I have tried and are worthy of making again. Plus, there is the favorite family recipe binder, which is recipes from long ago that our children loved. Then there is the smaller binder of unusual recipes from long ago, like Aunt Emma's marinara sauce, or grandma's bread and butter pickles.

All are neatly stored in a piece of furniture designed for cookbooks and a kitchen TV, for easy access to the kitchen table where I can plop them down to find what I am looking for.

I have the binders for different types of recipe, but I also have a set of folders

on Google docs. That means I can get my recipes on any computer, and my daughter can find them as well, even though they don't live with me. Not that I mind the calls asking me how to make something, but if I fall under a bus, my collection is there for them.
