I saved it and planned to make it for Christmas dinner.I was worrying about making my connecting flight in Chicago and left my tablet on the plane. Now I can't find the recipe. If anyone remembers it could you repost for me, please? The photo, as I remember, was of a crusty single layered dish, beautifully browned on top.

Thanks, Michael. What's really annoying is that I was told the flight crew cleaned the

cabin and most likely turned it in but the policy of their lost and found is to not tell you for 7-10 days. Ridiculous!

Let me know if you find it, please. I also purchased hash browns, during thanksgiving, w a recipe

in mind, and I can't for the life of me find it..... Pots are in the freezer, waiting for a recipe.

Made mine today for a lunch with the hash browns

I usually do this with leftover baked potatoes, and shred them coarsely.
Melt a stick of butter. Shred a medium onion into the butter. Mix in 16 oz. of sour cream. Salt and pepper. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese. Add a package of frozen hash browns. Put in a buttered baking dish. Heat at 350* for 45 minutes. If it looks a little dry, add some buttermilk or regular milk. Can put some more cheese on top.

lovely! I find regular Hasselbacks take longer to bake than regular bakers. test this casserole at

1 hour and give extra time before your dinner in case it needs more baking time. I love the presentation.
