Just picked up the cleaning which included a heavy black outdoor sweater. IT STINKS!! I'm guessing it's cleaning fluid or something sprayed on to kill the smell of the cleaning fluid. I REALLY want to take this sweater (goes with anything and I look good in it) I hung it on the line for an hour and nothing. Any suggestions? Please!!

I would Febreeze, then hang outside, or maybe the Dryel that you can use in the dryer?

Hang it out overnight (unless it's calling for rain).

Sometime things just take longer to air out.

Alternatively, you could throw it in the dryer on "air fluff" with a few dryer sheets and see if that helps. I wouldn't spray it with anything--that would probably just make the odor worse.

Worse case scenario, take it with you. It will almost certainly air out in a day or two.

When you pack it, if it still does not smell great, put dryer sheets in between the folds.

Dryer didn't work. It's on the line. I can't pack it 'cause it'll smell up everything else.

I'll have to wear it.

Febreeze should work ~ If you have a vanilla scented spray ~ Vanilla takes most odors out especially

smoke (cigarette or cigar) Lemon scented takes out garbage odors as well as orange

Hope this helps
