You might also try the Replacements website (link in message).

Go to the tab marked "China" at the top, then look for your pattern name. That might be more efficient than combing through Craigslist (and I don't think there's any way to search the site as a whole).

You could let us know the pattern and size of platter. We have a large dealer here that I just

spoke to this weekend. He's very reasonable and has a good supply of discontinued patterns.

 
We have two discontinued patterns, and Replacements is way expensive. If you're not in a rush,

keep an eye on eBay. Things come and go pretty fast. You can set up a Favorite for your pattern and then get emails every time something new is listed. Prices can be incredibly low if not many others are bidding. We just got four soup plates, from the 1940s, for $9. Replacements is charging $25.99 EACH.

 
Barb, if you tell us the pattern, maybe those of us that attend estate sales

could be on the lookout for it. China is a real bargin at estate sales if you can get to it before the dealers.
