Here's a great deal on chocolate with free shipping (only $2.75 a pound)

But there's the catch: each order is for 20 pounds. If anyone needs chocolate for an upcoming event, this might work for you.

The chocolate is similar to candy kisses. In fact, Hershey's stole the idea for their kisses from Wilbur Buds. Both are located in PA.

Comes in milk or milk/semi-sweet mixed...4 packages of 5 pounds each.

Shipping free to one person is a great price--not sure if it would be as good splitting it up and remailing to several folks with postal prices rising this week.

Sale ends Saturday.

Marilyn, don't think I have ever had a "bud". Is it the size of a chocolate chip or a kiss?

If they are chocolate chip size are they good enough for chocolate chip cookies?

They're about the size of a smooched kiss...larger than your basic chip. But

they might be perfect for "chunky" chip cookies. Not sure if you want to go that route.

I've found Wilbur chocolate to be smoother tasting than Hershey. This link compares them to Cadbury.

You could also call Wilbur's to get specific information. They were always most helpful, especially when I was trying to understand their different couvertures.

Here's another link that describes them.

Yummm wilbur buds! My SIL gives them as xmas gifts...

Ours are usually gone well before New years smileys/smile.gif Though we like the dark chocolate ones the best. The mix is a good deal!

bummer. I was going to order, but free shipping is to "continental" US only. Alaska is part of the

North American "continent" and the wording should be "contiguous", but trying to argue this with vendors is useless.
