here's a shout out once again for the Unbelievable Chicken Marinade in T&T

I marinated some boneless thighs and baked them instead of grilling and they turned out great---I had to pour off some of the juice about halfway, then I broiled them a bit for some color. I used a few to make chicken salad to fill some mini gougere puffs and it was so tasty. I have an entire bag of chicken tenders marinating in the freezer. Does anyone boil the leftover marinade and use it as a sauce? I like mustard with pork and think this marinade would be lovely with pork too.http://www.finerkitchens.com/swap/forum16/8_Unbelievable_Chicken_Marinade

This is probably my favorite chicken marinade, ever...I love adding fresh chopped rosemary

to it and the flavors are so excellent. I cut the salt back just a little for a lower-sodium but so flavorful marinade. I've given this recipe to a gazillion people too; I always grill the chicken with it.

I'll remember the rosemary next time. I did cut the br sugar to 1/4c.

it seemed plenty sweet to me, and I used rice wine vinegar---just can't stand cider vinegar. I will try this will pork chops for the grill when grilling weather finally arrives.

Rosemary is one of those things I can sit there and smell and smell and totally forget about life.

Thank you, dear world, for sharing something so wonderful with us ungrateful, mutilating humans.

Ewww...did you just see Spiderwick? I actually flinched at the spit scenes. But apparently

it was perfect for 10 year olds....they were all howling.

Not yet. It's probably in our near future though, having an 11-year-old in the house who...

...is udderly fascinated by any sound or smell emanating from his body.

It's a struggle to get him to put on "foo-foo", translated, underarm deoderant.
