PB has changed how you do this...here's how to upload a photo...

Go to:

Login: Finer_Kitchens

(The caps and the underscore must be used)

Once you log in and are on the Home Page on the top center of the page is an Orange "Upload" Button >click on that

A) This will bring you to a screen with a square on it and in the center you will see a Blue Button that says "Choose photos & videos" BUT...

smileys/cool.gif before clicking on it up in the left corner of the box you'll see "Upload to" with a pull down menu next to it that says "Your Bucket." If you look on the pull-down menu you'll see I created a album with your user name. Select that first before you upload.

C) Also -FYI, you'll see above the left top of the box a set of tabs. This will be defaulted to be set on "Computer" because most are uploading from their computer, but you can see other options to choose from if that's not the case.

D) Finally, once you've chosen where you are uploading to, and from where, click the Blue Button that says "Choose photos & videos" and navigate to find your photo(s) select them and if you are on a PC when you hit "Open" they will upload to your PB album.

Once your photos are submitted, scroll down, and it'll show you each pic with a "Direct", " HTML" and an "IMG" for each picture.

Copy the "Direct" into the "Image URL" in your Finer Kitchens post.

In addition, and/or if you want to post several photos, you can simply copy the HTML link (or links), directly into the body of your Eat.At post.

all you have to do is click browse, locate your picture, click enter and it's DONE. The browse box is right at your msg.

I wish we didn't have save pictures somewhere else and go to through hoops and buttons to post it here.

Well, if the/a photo is online anywhere, you can simply right click the photo...

select "copy image location" and then paste that into the Image URL link section of a post here and poof! Done.

The thing is this is such old software, I'm thrilled that Paul was able to get it to let us embed photos at all.

site. I do that all the time elsewhere but didn't think I could do it here.

 
Yes, you can...PB is just to get them up on the internet so they can be accessed...

now if you have a picture say on F*cebook and your page is set to private, I don't know if it would work because I don't use FB, but if you've posted it someplace else, or have a blog you've posted it to that the public can see, you can access that photo so you don't have to upload it to the internet twice.

But makes me itch just looking at it. Allergic to cats! smileys/frown.gif Wasn't always but several years ago I was at my cousin's holding their cat that I just loved and broke out in a rash all over my neck. *sigh

When we got him as a kitten they said he was quite a hummer, so that's

what we named him....They didn't know he was a Maine Coon at the time and I never heard of one then.

Someone left him at a euthanasia site as a little 4 wk old kitten. Someone there (his angel) recognized 'something' really special about him and insisted that the humane society keep him. A friend of mine alerted me to him after I had just lost a cat to death.

Hummer is a WONDERFUL cat, as I say, the best cat I've ever had my whole life. He is an obvious gift from God above!

What a beautiful boy! His roomate in the background looks a bit dejected.

I didn't know Maine coons had this colour fur. He is so pretty.
