i finally conviced my cardiologist that it was finally time for catheterization. he wanted to wait while we tested some on me. after his office closed officially,he called his office from the road and tell me that he had changed his mind and i should check at in at gw. other than my chest really hurting when i cough, i,m doing really well.

Hope you just take it easy and be a strong advocate for yourself and get what you need from your medical team.

Here's a thought for coughing - gently hug a pillow when you cough, this really helped me when I had an inflamed sternum and had pneumonia - somehow it takes some of the pressure off the chest when coughing. Oh, and most importantly (and I hope I'm not crossing the line WAY too much here - smirk) please avoid a proctologist for a while! LOL
